Background:
I worked as a PA to dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winning trainer, Noel Chance before joining Sporting Agenda in 2010. Before that I looked after estate property and public events at the Holnicote National Trust Estate on Exmoor. I am a Client Manager at Sporting Agenda and have built up a great client base, with specific responsibility for private functions.
Favourite Sporting Experience:
On a personal level, my first 2 point to point runners winning both their races on the same day and giving our local syndicate a nice bonus from the bookmakers was great fun. Otherwise, I have to say that the Federer v Nadal Wimbledon final back in 2008 was a real cliff-hanger.
Sporting Memory:
One of my best sporting memories was probably the first time I went to Badminton Horse Trials – and it was big back then! It fuelled my desire to become an Event Rider which I did for a few years (but not at Badminton). Another great memory has to be the first time I was lucky enough to go to the Wimbledon Championships. It’s a truly magical place and it always takes my breath away.
Sporting Heroes:
Sir Mark Todd, Roger Federer and one for the future, the up and coming jockey Ben Jones.
